Estates and Trusts
The Firm's Estates and Trust attorneys provide a full range of estate planning, probate and trust administration services. The Estates and Trust attorneys advise clients concerning the legal and tax aspects of personal, financial and estate planning, and provide assistance in connection with decedents' estates and counseling trustees and other fiduciaries with regard to their duties and responsibilities concerning investments, tax and accounting.
Other services range from simple wills to sophisticated estate planning using such techniques as revocable trusts, testamentary and generation-skipping trusts, charitable gifts and gift programs to family members. The Department also provides advice on health care powers of attorney, advance directives and living wills. Additionally, the estates and trust practice includes tax planning for closely-held and family-owned businesses.
