Christopher Heffernan Presents ESI Program to Construction Specifications Institute

On September 10, 2009, Christopher J. Heffernan presented a program to the Baltimore Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute called "Electronically Stored Information, Data Retention and Litigation." The program discussed the many forms and locations of ESI involved in design and construction projects, the challenges of keeping track of it, retaining it and producing it in litigation either as a party, or because you have been served with a subpoena for your records or your testimony. He also discussed proper implementation of effective data retention policies and duties to retain records on projects when litigation is anticipated.
