Leslie John Williams Joins Estates and Trusts DepartmentNiles Barton welcomes Leslie John Williams as a senior associate with the firm’s Estates and Trusts Department. Mr. Williams’ practice will focus on estate planning, business succession planning, estate and trust administration, and estate and gift taxation.
With over thirteen years of legal experience, Mr. Williams has counseled clients on personal wealth planning, complex wills, trusts, special needs trusts, guardianships and conservatorships, contested estates, living wills, powers of attorney, charitable giving, and estate administration. He has also represented businesses and nonprofits on transactional and litigation matters, including contracts, business incorporation, compliance, tax exempt qualification, employment, and commercial disputes.
A graduate of The George Washington University School of Law, Mr. Williams also received an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Baltimore and a B.A. in English from The Johns Hopkins University. He resides in Baltimore County with his family and is an active member of St. Ursula Church and School.
