Niles Barton Elects Four Attorneys to PartnershipNiles Barton has elevated four associates to partnership effective January 1, 2013. "We are proud to announce four new partners that represent the best and brightest of our future," said newly appointed Niles Barton Managing Partner Craig D. Roswell. "I congratulate these attorneys and thank them for all that they have done and will continue to do for Niles Barton and our clients."
The members of Niles Barton’s new partner class are:

M. David Stallings: David is a new Partner in the Litigation Department. His practice focuses on business and commercial litigation, fidelity and surety law, real property litigation, and matters of insurance coverage and interpretation. Mr. Stallings is an experienced litigator and has handled cases throughout Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.

Tracy L. Steedman: Tracy is a new Partner in the Construction Department. Her practice focuses on all areas of construction, including contract drafting and negotiation, pre-litigation dispute resolution, and all phases of civil litigation. She also handles complex commercial construction disputes including mechanics’ liens and construction defects. Ms. Steedman currently serves on the Boards of Maryland Defense Counsel and the Women’s Law Center of Maryland.

Mark J. Stiller: Mark is a new Partner in the Litigation Department. His practice focuses on general liability, property insurance law, related first party insurance law matters and subrogation. He practices in the state courts of Maryland and the District of Columbia.
- Geneau M. Thames: Geneau is a new Partner in the Litigation Department. Her practice focuses on professional liability, property insurance law, related first party insurance coverage matters and commercial litigation. Her experience includes first and third-party claims and fraud investigations. Geneau co-chairs the firm’s Women’s Committee and is a member of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society and the Professional Liability Defense Federation.
