Paul M. Finamore is a partner in the Litigation Department with over 30 years of experience as a trial lawyer retained as lead counsel on a wide variety of cases in the areas of general liability, professional liability, and employment law. His experience includes litigation of various first and third-party insurance claims including insurance fraud, professional liability claims involving accountants, insurance agents, and dentists, among others, as well as the defense of employment claims. He is a member of the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel (FDCC) and a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America. Mr. Finamore serves on the DRI Employment Law Steering Committee as Liaison to the FDCC and as Litigation Tactics Chair. He is an active member of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS), the Claims & Litigation Management (CLM) Alliance, and Eagle International Associates, Inc.
Matthew L. Kimball is the Chair of the firm’s Real Estate Department and has practiced commercial real estate law for 30 years. Mr. Kimball is a LEED Accredited Professional, and is Past Chair of the Advocacy Committee of the U.S. Green Building Council, Maryland Chapter, and is also a Fellow and State Chair of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys. Mr. Kimball also serves on the Board of Directors of the Episcopal Housing Corporation in Baltimore. Mr. Kimball has been listed in Best Lawyers® in the field of Real Estate Law since 2014.
Robert P. O’Brien has been recognized in Best Lawyers® in the area of Admiralty & Maritime Law since 2010. He is a partner in the Litigation Department and has been practicing for 40 years, concentrating on admiralty and maritime law and defense of claims in commercial litigation, as well as claims involving commercial contract disputes. Mr. O'Brien has been a proctor member of the Maritime Law Association of the United States since 1981 and he is currently a member of the MLA's Maritime Torts and Casualties Committee.
