Mr. Kimball is Chair of the Commercial Real Estate Department of Niles, Barton & Wilmer, LLP. His practice includes real estate, real estate finance, leasing, property management and real estate-related environmental law. He is a frequent speaker and is a contributor to industry journals, writing on leasing, property management and other real estate issues. Mr. Kimball is the co-author of the text Property Manager's Guide to Commercial Real Estate Law, published by the BOMI Institute. Mr. Kimball is a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and is a Fellow of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys, serving as Maryland State Chair. He is also a member of the NAIOP DC|MD, Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Mr. Kimball was selected to the Maryland Super Lawyers List from 2008 - 2019 in the area of Real Estate. He has also been peer-selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® in the area of Real Estate Law from 2014-2019.

Kimball serves on the Board of Directors for the Baltimore Chapter of Lambda Alpha International (LAI), as well as the Episcopal Housing Corporation in Baltimore.


Mr. Kimball is designated as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP™) by the U.S. Green Building Council. He also advises clients on green building incentive-based and regulatory requirements.
