Mr. Kimball is Chair of the Commercial Real Estate Department of Niles, Barton & Wilmer, LLP. His practice includes real estate, real estate finance, leasing, property management and real estate-related environmental law. He is a frequent speaker and is a contributor to industry journals, writing on leasing, property management and other real estate issues. Mr. Kimball is the co-author of the text Property Manager's Guide to Commercial Real Estate Law, published by the BOMI Institute. Mr. Kimball is a Fellow of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys, and is the Maryland State Chair of that organization. Mr. Kimball serves on the board of the US Green Building Council - Maryland Chapter, and is Past Chair of its Advocacy Committee. Mr. Kimball has also served on the Board of Directors of Preservation Maryland, and as President from 2006-2011, furthering the organization's mission to preserve Maryland's heritage and cultural sites.

Mr. Kimball was recognized as a top attorney in real estate by Maryland Super Lawyers from 2008 - 2017. He has also been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® 2014 -2017 in the area of Real Estate Law. 

Mr. Kimball also serves on the Board of Directors of the Episcopal Housing Corporation in Baltimore. 

Certifications

Mr. Kimball is designated as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP™) by the U.S. Green Building Council. He also advises clients on green building incentive-based and regulatory requirements.
