Litigation Associate Attorney
Niles, Barton & Wilmer, LLP is seeking a litigation associate attorney to join our Baltimore, Maryland office. This position requires an attorney who is self-motivated and is able to flourish in a fast-paced environment. A Maryland bar license and 1+ years of civil litigation experience is preferred. Applicants awaiting admission to the Maryland bar or scheduled to sit for an upcoming bar examination may also be considered. Our practice is multi-jurisdictional, and preference may be given to candidates who are licensed to practice in at least one of the following jurisdictions: District of Columbia, Pennsylvania or Virginia. Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills required. Salary commensurate with experience, range $100,000 to $150,000 plus potential bonus.

Insurance Coverage Associate
Niles, Barton & Wilmer, LLP is seeking an insurance coverage associate attorney to join our Baltimore, Maryland office. A Maryland bar license and 1+ years of experience handling insurance coverage matters is preferred.
The position requires a candidate who is self-motivated, with excellent writing and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing insurance policies and other contracts, preparing coverage opinions and drafting reservations and disclaimers. Our practice is multi-jurisdictional, and preference may be given to candidates who are licensed to practice in Delaware. Strong organizational and communication skills are required. An undergraduate degree or experience in finance and/or accounting is a plus. Salary commensurate with experience, range $100,000 to $150,000 plus potential bonus.

Legal Assistant
Niles, Barton & Wilmer, LLP is seeking a full-time professional legal assistant with 1+ years of relevant experience. Hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities include: electronically maintaining legal documents and files, drafting routine correspondence, taking responsibility for mailing letters and related legal documents, scheduling and coordinating depositions and travel arrangements for firm attorneys, electronic and other billing, submission of reimbursement requests for firm attorneys, making and answering telephone calls, sending and receiving emails, and other administrative duties. The position also requires the individual be able to order and/or pick-up (locally) breakfast/lunch for firm attorneys from time to time. The ideal candidate will be detail-orientated; have strong grammatical, proofreading, and editing skills; have excellent organizational skills; intermediate to advanced skills in NetDocuments, Clio, Microsoft Word, Outlook and excel; some experience with e-filing, and a strong ability to multi-task and work efficiently.
