Niles, Barton & Wilmer, LLP, Maryland’s oldest law firm, has continued to expand its service area on the Eastern Shore since opening a new office in Worcester County in 2021.  Since that time, David Stallings, Esquire, has managed the firm’s Eastern Shore office, focusing on estate and trust matters, corporate transactions, succession strategies for closely held businesses, copyrights and trademarks, and fiduciary and business litigation. 

In 2023, Niles, Barton & Wilmer, LLP expanded into Ocean City and welcomed Brian P. “Pete” Cosby, Esquire to the team. For over 40 years, Pete's practice has handled complex real estate and business transactions, condominium and homeowners’ association issues, commercial litigation, and liquor licensing matters.  Pete has also been a member of the Town of Berlin Planning Commission for over 25 years and is a past Chairman.
