Niles, Barton & Wilmer, LLP is seeking an attorney with 1+ years of experience handling subrogation matters to join our Baltimore, Maryland office.

The position requires an attorney who is self-motivated, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. J.D. from an accredited law school required. Our practice is multi-jurisdictional, and preference will be given to candidates who are licensed in Maryland, and at least one of the following jurisdictions: Washington, D.C., and Virginia. The ideal candidate will have experience communicating with insurance adjusters and attorneys, reviewing and understanding insurance contracts, and drafting pleadings. Strong organizational and analytical skills required.

The position requires an attorney who is self-motivated, with excellent writing and analytical skills. J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the Maryland State Bar is required, Delaware is a plus. The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing insurance policies and other contracts, preparing coverage opinions and drafting reservations and disclaimers. Strong organizational and communication skills are required. Undergraduate degree or experience in finance and/or accounting is a plus.
