Niles, Barton & Wilmer, LLP Partner Michele H. Dinterman Mentioned in the Washington Business Journal for Representation of Blackstone-Owned Advertising Platform
October 30, 2025
Partner Michele H. Dinterman was mentioned in the Washington Business Journal for her representation of New Tradition Outdoor, an advertising platform owned by Blackstone, in connection with the recovery of misdirected rent payments for advertising space at Washington, D.C.’s Union Station.
According to the Washington Business Journal report, New Tradition Outdoor claims it double-paid more than $1.1 million in rent after Amtrak assumed management of Union Station from Rexmark’s affiliate, Union Station Investco LLC (USI), in July 2024.
The publication quoted from Michele’s August 27 letter to Amtrak’s counsel and Rexmark Managing, emphasizing that: “The Settlement Agreement cannot affect New Tradition’s right to recover funds inadvertently paid to USI — that right is personal to New Tradition and cannot be unilaterally waived by Amtrak in the Settlement Agreement or otherwise.”
Michele’s representation of New Tradition highlights Niles, Barton & Wilmer LLP’s deep experience in commercial litigation disputes, as well as the firm’s commitment to protecting clients’ financial and business interests in complex, high-stakes matters.
