Mr. Roswell is the Chairman of the Litigation Department. He concentrates his practice on commercial litigation, including matters involving real estate.  His practice also includes property insurance law, first party insurance matters and the defense of general liability claims.  He is a member of the Law Firm Alliance [LFA] Lender Liability Litigation Subgroup.

Additionally, Mr. Roswell practices in the area of bankruptcy and creditor's rights. His experience includes the investigation and litigation of various coverage issues, including arson, coverage interpretations, and fraud investigations.

Mr. Roswell is rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell, awarded by peer review, for the highest standards of professional skill and ethics.  He has been recognized as a top attorney in business litigation by Maryland Super Lawyers magazine (2008-2012) and as a SmartLawyer by SmartCEO magazine. He is a member of the American Bar Association's Property Insurance Law Committee and the Defense Research Institute. Mr. Roswell is admitted to practice in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.
