Niles Barton Named to 2020 Best Law Firms List by U.S. News and Best Lawyers

U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers named Niles, Barton & Wilmer, LLP to its 2020 “Best Law Firms” list. Niles, Barton & Wilmer, LLP has been selected into the National Tier 3 rankings of firms in the country for admiralty and maritime law. Niles, Barton & Wilmer, LLP was also named to the "Best Law Firms" list for the Baltimore metropolitan region in two practice areas: Admiralty & Maritime Law and Real Estate Law.

According to U.S. News, firms included in the 2020 “Best Law Firms” list are recognized for professional excellence with consistently positive ratings from clients and peers. Peer-rankings signals a unique combination of quality legal services and breadth of legal expertise in jurisdictions in which attorneys practice.

To be eligible for a ranking, a firm must have a lawyer listed in The Best Lawyers in America©, which recognizes the top 4 percent of practicing attorneys in the U.S.

Ranked firms, presented in tiers, are listed on a scale nationally and by metropolitan area. Receiving a tier designation reflects peer recognition by other leading lawyers and clients in the same geographic location and practice areas for their legal abilities, professionalism, and integrity.
